Osprey - Sold

Osprey is a steel pilot cutter situated on Greenland dock which is part of South Dock Marina and is being sold with a transferable residential licence for the berth. The boat was built in 1946 and later converted to a liveaboard boat with galley in the wheelhouse and saloon below deck a double master cabin and a single berth / office desk with a shower room in the forepeak.

The effecient layout of the brightly painted galley accommodates a collapsable table and stools and fridge, 2 hob electric, under-counter cabinets and a freestanding retro metal sideboard.

Below deck is cleverly laid out, the spaces flow between each other to give you the feel of open plan each space is individual and well defined. Porthole windows and opening roof lights provide lots of light to the space which is lined with built in cupboards, wardrobes and bookshelf storage and upholstered seating. The wood-burning stove sit neatly in the saloon comfortably heating the lower and upper deck. Additional heating is supplied by plugin electrical radiators, a dehumidification  unit is also provided.

The master cabin double bed and under bed storage side tables and reading lights is located towards the rear of the boat and is accessible from the saloon.

The boat was surveyed in 2021 and some exterior upgrade and maintenance works were completed.

The engineroom is accessible via a ladder through a hatch on the back deck. The engine had some work carried out to get it back in full service but this work is incomplete, the engine does turn over by hand but is not fully operational.

The sale of the boat also includes a kayak and paddle and an external storage box located on the pontoon.

This boat is being sold on a residential berth the sale price of boat excludes the 10% of sales price fee paid to Southwark Council for the transfer of the residential licence. If required the boat can be sold without the licence.
